The only thing I haven't liked about this one is that the Monrovian's speak "African". I mean Jay speaks English not "American". Just bugs me…
Enjoyed it otherwise, though it does remind me a little of Andrew Vachss post-apocalyptic short fiction for some reason…

@Lurker, do you not like Standard International African in general or that I truncated it down to just African? (There was a world building reason for SIA that never made it into the actual book.) In general it's a play on our own language, which is officially Standard American English (versus Queen's English).
