A setting without a plot

Someone said โ€œAffleck, you the bomb in phantoms, yo!โ€ which is a timeless quote. I actually saw Phantoms, forever ago, when it came to home video. But I couldnโ€™t remember anything about it, so I went to YouTube and watched the trailer. I still donโ€™t remember anything about it (other thanโ€”at the timeโ€”thinking that Affleck was out-acting the story and it was a shame it couldnโ€™t have been better for him). It kind of reminds me of From, which is one of my current favorite TV shows. Iโ€™m not much into horror, but From does it right. And when a train whistle sounded during the trailer, a new idea popped into my head.

There is a townโ€ฆsomewhere. And a train track goes through the center of town. And during the day, itโ€™s a normal line for normal shipping and life is normal. But at night, the train connects heaven and hell. The saved and the damned come to the town to take the train to their eternal destination. That means, at night, the best of the best and the worst of the worst come to town.

I donโ€™t have a plot. Maybe it doesnโ€™t need one. Maybe itโ€™s a From Dusk โ€˜til Dawn kind of story. I do have a title, though: Circuit City.
